Today the Swifters met the 15th Operational Weather Squadron at Scott Airforce base.The team learned about the operational portion of the forecasters of the Airforce. The squadron allowed us to talk to their entire team and get a heads up to which storm we should chase this afternoon! The Swifters got to speak to the enlisted and officer crew of the squadron, learning about their roles, jobs, and how all their hard work impacts the DOD. It was a great learning experience for the team as we continue Westward to great days of storms and hopefully a tornado!
